April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for over 20 years. Her fame is based on her roles as Kandi as well as Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actor who is best known for playing Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the popular TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her first job was modeling before she moved into films and TV programs. Following her appearance as an extra character in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as in single episodes of other shows, her first appearance on the screen was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Then, she was offered the role as Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. She played Stacy Barrett in the popular show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention across the globe. Bowlby played Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American series on the web called Titans. She will reprise her role in the spin-off to the Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby was also seen on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Following her appearance in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature) as well as From Prada, to Nada she debuted in the big screen with All Roads Lead Home. She went to East Union High School. She began her studies in French and ballet at Moorpark College. Then she chose to go into acting. While studying drama with Ivana Chubb, she was offered the lead part (Kandi in Two and a Half Men) just a few months after her Hollywood debut. Bowlby appeared in many TV series, including CSI in 2004, CSI: NY and CSI: NY in 2005. She also appeared on Freddie and Freddie in 2005, as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. Bowlby was recently seen as the character Natasha (a 12-year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The film is about a tragic accident which leads her to be separated from her mother. Bowlby is playing Mia on the 2008 comedic The Slammin Salmon. She resides Los Angeles. Her hair is naturally red and blue eyes. She is single and has no children.
