Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news conference held on the 21st March 2012 that Coleman will take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat picked her to play the role as she performed the best alongside Smith and could talk faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the film industry since 1987. She has however been more well-known on television than in films. Eva has played a variety of roles on television, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas' in CSI Miami. In fact, the role as Doctor.
