Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. Within the same calendar year she released her first musical album, The album is Tina Time. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 drama. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her acting career between Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles as contrast to her image of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she was also a prominent director for popular TV programs like Supernatural and The 100. Her birth date was August 28, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of in the city for her entire childhood. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
